Here is a video of my 1981 Yamaha Xs650 Backfiring. Can any of you Motorcycle doctors give me a solution? I presume I have to fiddle with the carburetors.

Alright, this isn't an XS650 part. However I have no idea how to remove the axle from this wheel. Any suggestions?

1981 Yamaha XS650 ---------------------------- So, when I start the bike it will idle just fine until I pull the throttle. Once I pull the throttle it won't seem to go back all the way unless I snap the throttle back hard. Here's a quick video showing the problem.

Since my bike spent the last 15 years of its life hanging out in a barn, most of the chrome and other metals have gathered slight rust and oxidation spots. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I would go about restoring the metal? Included are some pictures.

Hey again, so I'm out working on the bike today and figured I'd try to get the seat off. However this proved to be more difficult than I imagined. I u locked the seat on the right hand side, however the left side of the seat is still connected to the frame. Does anyone know how I can get this off?
