Clutch adjuster cover rattles
XS650SE. The clutch adjuster has a chrome cover that you push in. Mine rattles. It's new. I have gently spread out the splines and now it does not push in quite so easily but it still rattles. It feels like there should be a small diameter rubber seal fitted to the cover? Am I missing a...- grmp

Shift shaft lateral play and washer plate
XS650SE, 1981. On the lhs of the engine where the gear shift shaft exits the crankcase there should be an oil seal, a washer plate, and then a circlip. I have misplaced the washer (part number 248 18137 0000). The only source I can see is CMSNL but they are very expensive for a UK buyer...- grmp

Mag rear wheel bearing spacer dimensions
The rear wheel bearing spacer for a 1980 SE cannot be found in Europe, as far as I can see. I can get somebody to fabricate one for me but having the OEM dimensions would be handy. A google search can find the dimensions for drum brake XS650's (part no: 9056 020135). But the mag wheel has a...- grmp
