I created a custom seat pan from fiberglass. The front of the seat uses the stock bolt by the gas tank and the rear is held by a bolt that goes through the rear fender.

Good question. I assume you wouldn't notice. It is hard to tell seeing that you wouldn't be able to see te headlight as you ride. My guess it wouldn't happen much at all seeing as it is hard enough to find neutral on these things.

I am going to do this same thing using a extra stock 19" front hub I bought with a rear 16" stock wheel. I contacted Buchanans about this and they said it shouldn't be a big deal. I will be doing this over the winter.
