These are the measurements I pulled

The only parts removed while I was doing it was the cylinder head cover and the left side crankcase cover

I was pulling off the oil drain plug tapping on the ratchet with a hammer because it was way over torqued and this fell from somewhere and hit the ground. I’ve looked everywhere and can’t figure out where it came from. It doesn’t appear to have sheared off of anything. Any help would be much...

Pulled my oil feed tube and banjo bolt off yesterday and half the top thread came along with it 😩 Am I screwed? Or do y’all think it’ll ride with the banjo bolt? Pics to damage and thread that came off. Thanks for any feedback.

Just got done with the easy stuff. Now the fun begins 😂 I also found out it’s already had the pma swap, so I’m interested to see if I find anything else when I crack the motor open.

Just found my first xs650. It’s an 81, It was in ok condition. Frame needs a lot of work and the springer front end wasn’t set up right at all. No clue what I’m doing but as soon as I got it in my shop I started tearing it down 😅 plan Is to set her up right, wish me luck😆
