I can't seem to put more than one item in the shopping cart at Old School Speed. If I pay for each item individually I get shipping tacked on to each one. I sent him an e-mail but no responce yet, it's been about five days. Has anyone used his site?

They usually go higher so your toe clears the exhaust pipes. There are pipes that go under the engine that fix that problem.

Is anyone running two for their 277? I'm ready to buy them if that's the best option.

I re-used the old steel plates from my clutch, that's my problem. I need to order the new thinner plates.

It's to the end of the inner housing. I had six friction disks and five plates before but they were thicker. Now I have seven friction plates and six metal plates. My understanding is that the newer friction plates were thiner and I had to have more to make it work. How do I upload pics? I...

I started this thread a year and half ago. Today was the day that I finally put it together. I used seven kevlar disks from MikesXS and bought one extra plate from him to get my six disk clutch to seven. The clutch stack comes out to the end of the inner hub exactly. I can't find a reference to...

I hope they restore it. I should have left my 73 alone and not rephased it. I run into a problem every time I want parts for it. No rearsets, stainless exhaust doesn't fit quite right. Short swing arm, can't swap on a newer tank, the list goes on.

My bike projects are the WLA Harley, a 175 Benelli, and two xs's. One of the XS's has a rephase and the motor has just been buttoned up but I'm stalled on the the clutch. I've ridden the Harley though so at least I managed to get one together.

I just measured the neck and they are the same on the xs500 and xs650. So the fork swap would work, but looking closer, the width of the forks is only 1/2 inch narrower and the top triple tree on the 500 is pretty ugly. I don't know if it's worth it. What started my wheels turning in the first...

Thanks for the offer gggGary but they're XS500 rims. they are quite a bit narrower than 650 rims. My plan was to swap the narrow triple trees, forks and rim to the 650 for a skinny look. Its still at the idea stage, I haven't measured the neck to see how feasable it is.

I have a set of mags that most of the finish has flaked off and the exposed aluminum is powdery. Are they worth refinishing and how would I go about it.

I just picked up a little Benelli/Wards Riverside 175. The piston is stuck and the crank is crunchy when i turn it. It will lift the barrel out of the block but the piston is really siezed. I can't find a replacement piston or bearings anywhere. What do shops do in this case? Cross reference...
