Alot of guys will put a front end off of a commercially bought "big wheel," which have a front free-wheel. But alot of the dedicated down hill trikes don't use pedals. I see you're from Shelton? I'm from Spokane.

I just ordered the JMR bender, I should have it monday and it does come with a degree wheel, however, the angle gauge helps when you bend in the same plane when doing multiple bends. Its hard to tell what it is, but it would be cool if it was some variation of a mechanical bender similar to JMR's unit.

Nice find! I have a Harbor Freight angle finder that i'm pretty happy with.

I made this little angle/plain finder thinggamajig tool out of some tube and C channel to mount the harbor freight angle finder. Its probably been one of the most useful tools ive made!
