Whatcha got for paintin the cases?

I just painted my cases today. I cleaned them really good, sanded everywhere with I red scotchbrite pad, cleaned them with brake cleaner and compressed air, and then sprayed 6 coats of PJ1 case paint. Looks awesome. Not sure how durable it will be yet.

    Soda Blasting

Wow. Thats simple. Looks like it works well. Im going to try it on an old set of carbs or cylinder. Keep it simple i guess works best sometimes. Been busy at work, but have found sometime to keep buliding my bike. The frame is almost ready to be powdercoated. Next rebuild my engine.

Single down tube street tracker build

I'm builing the frame myself. It's a big undertaking. Had a machine shop build the steering neck for me, and a friend lent me his pipe bender so I could make the new frame members. Slowly coming together. Renovated our basement so I haven't worked on it much in the past month.

    Soda Blasting

Thanks. I'm building a single down tube street tracker. Big build. Trying to think ahead of things like coatings and paint. My frame is almost done, and ready to get powdercoated. I'm going to start rebuilding the engine soon, so I need to think about how I want to clean the parts and...
