    Thanks for the info! Now all I need is the time to dive into this bike, I've only had it for 2 days so far!. Gotta finish a house renovation and another project bike... Then I have to replace the slave cylinder in my V-Max then I will have a look at the 650!

    wtf i need carb help

    I would recommend installing a visu inline fuel filter between your petcock and carbs. You can get them on eBay cheap, make sure you get the 1/4 inch inlet and outlet. I use them on my Big Bear, Radian and V-Max... Will be putting one on my XS650 when I get the carbs cleaned.
