    Long time fan of the XS

    I have always been a fan of this bike for lots of reasons. Rescued a number of them for various projects. My last project here was a ton of fun and looking for my next ideas. Love this forum. Thanks for the welcome and all the inspirations.

    Got my solo seat and hardware. Love it! it's gonna look great. However, I was wondering about the way the springs attach. The seat pan has studs that come off it - 2 for the front hinge and 2 for the rear springs. Can it be, that at the top on these studs, the springs are only held tight to...
