    Wheel lacing. new spokes don't lay like the old ones

    Lacing wheels thread lubricant

    I'm about ready to lace up my first set of wheels. Searching on here I've found some great resources on how to do it. Some people are recommending using a thread lubricant on the spokes. This makes sense but what do you use for a lubricant, grease, oil...or does it matter? Thanks Bill
