Hi everyone,
My name is Chris and I just joined the forum today. I'm in my 40's and just started riding last month. I bought my first bike, which is a 1981 XS650 and I'm wondering why I didn't start riding earlier!
Anyhoo, I have lots to learn and am looking forward to all of it!

Welcome to the madness, Chris. I hope you have taken or will take a rider safety training course. Nobody wants you to become a statistic. For me motorcycling brings enough joy to take the risk. At the same time, the risk can be reduced a great deal by taking the proper precautions.

It's never too late to start for sure. I got my first bike at age 36 in 2006, an 1980 xs650. Ever since I've been addicted and added a few more xs650s to my stable, plus a couple of Hondas.
