Last Friday a buddy and I drove 285 miles SE to the National M/C museum, Anamosa, Iowa. Excellent museum, nearly 500 bikes on display. My bud want'd to see the fabled Bonneville salt flat Vincent.
They had a xs2 on the floor, no drum brake XS units and a rather sad look'n Special stuff'd in a corner. Amount the streamliners was this dual XS engine unit.
Several hill climbers.... one fellows approach to conquer the hill required steel " nads ".
