Hey Carb.

Good to hear from you. Hope to have a good flow in the builds this winter and fingers crossed finish them up in time for spring. I will be having a close look at your threads "elecricals secion" as one of the bike will have a very similar set up.

Hey guys,

Before I put the engine back in the frame, I put in a new oil seal for the starter, new oil filters, gaskets ect... also checked valve clearances and a general degrease and cleaning. I'll leave it on bench in the engine stand over night just to be sure I got the seal in right. Looks good so far and yes I remembered to fill oil...LOL

Did you paint that frame yourself? If so what did you use? Getting ready to do mine soon, like how yours came out.

Tom o,

Yes, I brush painted the frame and swing with semi gloss enamel.
"Quick lakk" its called over here... Sorry I cann't help you any more.
I did get some runs but all dressed up I don't think it will be noticable.

Best of luck

That's how I previously did mine but I didn't like how it ended up coming out, but yours looks a lot better. Can't wait to see it get finished up

Thanks xskid.... I'm waiting for my tire guy to pull through, motorcycle tire sales are quite slow in the winter over here.

Tom O.... Its not perfect but good enough. I'm not aiming for a show bike finish anyhow. I use a cheap radiator brush as well. May be I'll invest in a better brush when I panit my own frame.... lol

Started messing around with the head light again...
