probably broke down. Just call me greasy.
That’s a serious showroom finish Jim, better be careful with the wax-job on that tank or you’re gonna blind someone! Beautiful work as always
Nice paint job and a very happy man Damn near a shit eating grin (never did get that saying)
Yeah... I haven't painted professionally for 20+ yrs. Dupont and PPG were my 2 go to's back then. I used this stuff from Ebay....Are you using something like PPG base coat clear coat? Or what ? I’ve been out of professional paint for too long.

Never used it before... but everything I read said it was good stuff and it didn't break the bank. I was a little apprehensive at first... the first coat of silver mottled big time, same with the second. I was gettin' sorta bummed, then I remembered that PPG silver base used to do exactly the same. 2 more coats and the mottling disappeared. The candy was to die for. I've never seen a candy lay out so smooth and even. Same with the clear. I think it's the best leveling clear I've ever seen. Even better than Imron... and that's saying a lot!
Overall.....2 thumbs up.
They will when I'm done with 'em....So is that tank what those emblems I shipped out yesterday are going on? If so I hope they meet your approval when next to that red!
It's only new once Fred. It wont get any abuse... and I never dinged one installin' it. Normal wear and dings from use? I'm sure it'll happen.survive not only abuse but the ordinary dings of careful installation and riding?
