Sort of along the lines of what BigJimmy was saying, you must of thought people would be offended or else you wouldn't have asked the question. Since I didn't know what the Misfits were, I did some research. I found this T-shirt image. I think it ties in better visually and metaphorically with a motorcycle.

Well, I wasn't referring to the posters, but rather to the people the posters were bringing up, who at least belong in jail if not the psycho ward.

Everyone, well im not anit-american here, i go with my grandpa to his veteran reunions sometimes, i myself just am a big fan of the band! I have nothing aginst JFK, he wouldve been a great president, im also big into history the best thing im good at besides art. Im not trying to offend anybody or anything, yes our countries great but its not perfect, i was going to join the marines but my grandpas the one that talked me out of it, shit hes got multiple purple hearts, its just that he had to fight in order just to get the government to give him disability it took about 28yrs, he can barely walk, a land mine exploded right in front of him sending shrapnel into his body and he got shot in the thigh too.

This isnt a final idea either, ive countless ideas for different paint jobs or themed bikes, giant cross, metallica bike, pantera, clock n gears bike, the list goes on

The Kennedy one would be in bad taste, but at the end of the day it is what happened. The second is just what ever you want it to mean. Not my cup of tea, either of them. Would i smash them, no, but i would judge the owner of the bike by them and would probably not invite him on rides with me.

Then again it's your bike and you have rite to do as you please.

Mind you the swastika has been given the bums rush because people associate it with Hitler and the death of 3 million Jews. In fact it has been used for hundreds of years by different civilisations before and Hitler stole the design.............

i know right the swastika was original used by the hindus for being a symbol of peace and Hitler just flipped it around and used it to his liking, and then it was just know for a hate symbol.

There was a building downtown with swastikas in the brickwork, dating from before Hitler. Fascinatingly it survived WWII but succumbed (the swastika part of it) to political correctness pressure in the '90s.

After thinking about this further, I came to these conclusions:

If you have to ask that question then the answer is: Yes.

Also, that there is no way that you wouldn't think that someone would get offended about it. People were offended whenever the Misfits put that cover out there.

So, why are you really asking the question? To get people stirred up online? To seem like you're on the cutting edge of some guys on a forum? Or what?

BigJimmy, i was honestly asking this question because i did want to know if others would b offended, because it doesn't offend me in any way, im not trying to sound like a dick or anything but i takes a lot to offend me, im not trying to get people stirred up at me or the forum or anything like that, i just want to do a theme bike and the misfits are one of my fav band that i grew up listening to, im only 21, i like all kinds of music its just that punk and thrash metal are my fav.

I agree that the Kennedy one definitely lacks taste. But that may be the look you are going for. I personally don't agree with anybody utilizing the image of a president being shot for personal or business use, but that's why we have freedom of speech. Ain't America grand!? I personally watched a good friend of mine beat the shit out of someone for having a similar tastes in reference to the American flag. I'm sure this guy thought it was cool to have anti america propaganda plastered all over his station wagon, but in the end is it worth having your teeth knocked out by a former Marine SOC that spent four years in the sand box to defend your right to be tasteless????

I c were ur coming from, if i put it on my bike i should be ready for the consequences but like you said were all entitled to freedom of speech, news, press, etc... no offense to ur friend but that seems kinda harsh, i can see if the guy was bad mouthing everything or yelling at ur friend then ya he deserved the shit kicked out of him, but i mean if he didnt do anything to ur friend, then why would he beat the shit out of him? Everybodys entitled to there own views, people only see and hear what they want to see and hear, ya know what im saying? There is also freedom of expression. It cuts both ways. If you are deliberately offensive, you invite confrontation. (I recommend avoiding the Kennedy image)

Seriously, though, at least here in Texas, that JFK image would cause a lot of trouble.
It is a free country. My Dad spent 34 days on Iwo Jima,as an 18 year old Marine, to ensure You can have Freedom of Expression. How You use that Freedom, is up to You.

its actually kinda funny that you're asking if this will offend someone because the song itself was written simply for shock value, Danzig has admitted to it plenty of times in the past.
For people not familiar, im talking about the Kennedy artwork which is cover art for Bullet.
i could care less about about using a graphic of a dead president, americans love to put Kennedy on a giant pedestal and granted he wasn't a horrible president (like some other ones i can think off the top of my head) but he had plenty of faults. But whatever....
The point is if you're worried about offending someone it should have been pretty obvious to you even prior to asking this question. Kind of silly.

I would stay away from anything Misfits related on your bike unless you're trying to build a "Hot Topic" themed bike or something riduculous like that. Post Danzig Misfits have basically become a joke band over the years and are no longer taken seriously by anyone other then 15 year old chubby goth kids.
