Some pretty sharp wrenches run in that crowd. Plus Shadetree built an XS650 chopper from scratch.... including the wiring.Haha, that's fair, it's definitely a group I could reach out and see

I believe so, it's one of the things that was installed by the previous owner. So im not too sure.Yep, that's a PAMCO type (Mike's ?) so it'll wire-up just like the diagram
WOW!!! Yes it's expensive... and hell yeah, use it. I believe JP even has experience wiring it up.So I was digging through boxes and found an m-unit from what research I've done it seems to be a replacement for the fuse box system, and really expensive, is this something I should go ahead a use instead and how would this change the current wiring setup?
I've been keeping a list of all the parts that came with the bike and I honestly feel bad I didn't give this guy any money for the project it's somewhere close to 2-3k so farWOW!!! Yes it's expensive... and hell yeah, use it. I believe JP even has experience wiring it up.
JP?
And that goes back to the M-Unit. Will it work on cap only?Ditto Pamcos on capacitor only (no battery) electric systems.
No.....they (despite common wisdom) are very touchy on input voltage. I know Motogadget says "battery only", but in addition there is no way it would survive the spikes the typical Cap would put out. Where did the Cap discussion come from? Will it work on cap only
