hey guys i need your help. just bought a 1980 xs650 and i am having electrical issues.
when the key is in the on position the tail light works, the headlight does not. the signals work once every 5-10 attempts and some times just stay light up. the horn works but the electrical start does...
hey guys had a question sry if this has already been covered. my rear brake lining is right at its limit. is there anyway to replace it? i am pretty sure i read somewhere that it could not be? if not could i have a machine shop make something that would work well and safely? thanks mike
the plug and washer are new and i only installed it once. maybe it is a defective washer? maybe i should try heating it or buy a new one. the front one is also new and does not leak. thanks mike
hey guys my oil plug has been leaking. the one that is on the filter side. i replaced the plug with a new one torqued it to the correct spec and it is stil leaking. any tips on what to do? thanks mike

cool thanks for the info guys. i got some 1" id pipe and am making glass packs out of them. it will be a tight fit with one layer of fiberglass packing but should do the trick. thanks mike

im sure they would be very happy to know one of there frames was subject to vanity. Those are professionals biulding serios peices. this is not a hobby to them.

yeah like i said stupid move on my part. i just got a better welder so i may try to plug it for now. but that is just a temp fix. yes they do have slugs welded in. not really going for the smooth look now, but when i started a while back i thought that i was going to. also not to repeat...
