Neh. Adjusted the clutch yesterday too but I figured what it was...just the timing was off. Adjusted the plate and set it to the correct timing mark and was done!

Dang thats some rattling. Yeah since the motors don't have rubber mounts I can see why it's an issue sometimes tho.

Found it. This is like the 3rd time it's happened but the red, black and green wires to the PMA ignition plate sometimes break off maybe due to vibration and the heat? Re-soldered and started right up. Damn these bikes sometimes!!!

Bought a brand new never been used standard pamco electronic ignition and probably will never need it. Seeing to trade or cut deal for rebuilt or good running pair of BS34 carbs for my 80. Prefer to ship in US only but will consider. Thanks guys.

Yep pretty much read up on how the system works and came to the conclusion I burned the pamco like you said and after pulling the plugs and verifying I just went and ordered a new one. Next time ill have all wiring done beforehand. Thanks much tho!

Started with the basic, air/fuel mixture screw (damn brass cap is a mother to get off) and done! Thats all it was, cleaned the screw and seat and now no mo popping. Thanks!
