If you think that's bad, my friend is restoring a 75 Suzuki RE5. Rotary powered bike. There was a seat on eBay that started at $180.00 he bailed out of the bidding when it hit $500. I think it eventually went for $600 plus shipping.
No there is no easy way to do it. An upgrade would require a new motherboard. Those are $100+ . Then you would need to upgrade your ram as well. Possibly the power supply also. I just honestly think its a lost cause at this point.

not sure if you can order fron newegg.com or not from aus, but if so they have plenty of good refurbished systems for around $300 if your looking for a good PC cheap.
