For Sale - 1972 Yamaha XS2 -- NICE ORIGINAL CONDITION

Nice original condition Yamaha XS2 for sale. $3800.
The bike is located about an hour north of Philadelphia
...Offering it here before I post it on Craigslist

This bike has been my daily rider for the past eight years. Has all the upgrades...including pamco ignition, new coils, new tapered head bearings, new bronze swing arm bushings.
Nice original paint (one ding in the tank), nice set of original mufflers, seat is a reproduction.
I have a clear title in my name.
New rear tire, might need a front tire and a battery in the near future, both are good right now so I left them alone. Front tire might last through the riding season....battery is two years old, bike leaks a little oil from time to time....just saying.
This bike always fires up on the first kick! A great rideable vintage motorcycle.

From what I've seen going on, your price seems quite fair for your really nice XS2.

It *could* just be our forum's market segment. Most of us here already have a bike, and are looking for bargains, parts and info. Also, early spring is the best time to start a listing. The exciting sales seem to happen on eBay.

I've seen numerous posts by dormant members searching to buy early models. You could search for those posts/threads, and PM or respond to the thread. If their profile config is set to eMail them, they may wake-up and take notice...

Any luck selling it? I'd buy it in a heartbeat. If it weren't so damned complicated to cross it into Canada (Ontario) legally.
