Not my first rewire, but I messed up on where I wired in the regulator and it tripped me out lol.

I parked the bike and hit the switch to kill power...
Still running.

Unplugged the positive lead...
Still running

Took out the battery...
Still running :wtf:

Had to pull the main fuse to kill it.

I should have put it in gear and seen how much I could Rev it before it cut out.

I have an HEI ignition installed with a HHB PMA and a mosfet regulator from an R1. I'll check it out tomorrow, I got a kick out of it lol, wish it could run like that all the time.

Hi Motorbreath,
I got a WTF? story to beat that.
Techs up North did a routine annual tune-up on a big Diesel. Supposed to run at 300 rpm. Fired it up after the tune-up but it ran all rough.
Boss turned it off; it kept running. Boss disconnected the fuel line, it revved up to 320 rpm. Boss removed the entire injector pump, it revved up
to 350 rpm and kept climbing. At 500 rpm the vibration got so bad all the building's lights fell down and the crew retreated to a safe distance.
At an estimated 900rpm the motor blew up.
Failure analysis showed that an external oil line had been trapped between the air intake manifold and the cylinder head, to leak
enough that the Diesel was running on it's own lubricant.

Same here... Turbocharged Renault 4 cyl. diesel. Oil seal blew in the turbo and off she went... Coming up on a stop, I had to throw her into neutral. Blew itself to pieces.
