I am not thrilled with the speedo the previous owner/builder put on mine. He did not put a tach on the bike. I like these. Do both of these hook right up to my 1980 XS650? I have a stock front wheel set up. The order page says to be sure of the stock gauge set up and it might need a diode. Is this something I need to know first?I bought mini gauges from dime city cycles in all black (links below). I believe they sell them with chrome bezels as well. I love the look. Nice and compact.

I’m not sure whether or not you bought the correct ratio. I have forgotten what Yamaha is but it doesn’t match Honda AFAIK.

Only needed if the turnsignals are LED or if the ground lead for turn indicator bulb is not separate from the other bulb grounds
