I just got my 76 xs650 together and set the timing as instructed. Using my timing light at idle the marks are almost right on however as I am watching the mark on the stator moves back and forth just slightly. Is this normal or should I look for something else?

Anyone try the small bicycle shocks on your solo seat? A lot less expensive than shocks made for motorcycle seats and easy to get a local stores.

Looking for a front brake caliper and bracket for 35mm forks right side

Forks are 35mm from a Honda 650. Also have lower half of triple tree for them. Front disc , 34mm triple tree and exhaust from 1976 xs650. Handle bars are 1" from a sportster and from a vstar 650. Give me an offer and help me get them out of my way.

I have for sale a set of forks from a 1976 xs650. The tubes are brand new never installed. The lowers are in very good condition but one of the small fiber rings on the little slider is missing. Will need new seals of course. I will add pictures later. Everything else is ready to go back together.

Showa forks sticker says 425-9 single disk 35mm can anyone tell me what these came off of? I have tried to use number on sticker but no luck. the have a ridge on the front and rear of each lower leg. Thanks
