Hi fellas,
Has anyone had experience with an eBay seller called City of Collectibles? Mines a 1980 XS650, and the frame is standard with back hoop. Do they fit well? And are there many mods needed for them to bolt on?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Will
I've finished just about everything else on my rebuild but left the scariest bit to the end like a lot of people - so on with the wiring. Going with a Boyer Bransden, kick only and a decent small battery. I did the boyer and coils fairly easily, got as far as connecting the ignition switch to my...

I'm currently considering Rephasing or a 750cc big bore kit on my broke engine. Trouble is i've also purchased a Boyer Bransden M Power kit (before realising there was a piston problem) and wondered whether it's okay to use the BB kit on a Rephased or 750cc big bore engine once i've got the job...
Current lump is kaput, bought it from DK motorcycles in Stoke on Trent (who told me it runs & starts).. lies basically.
The model is a US special SG 1980, but if anyone has a very good, RUNNING engine that they wish to sell, then please PM me!
Cheers

I've had a better looking battery box built into the frame to fit the standard size battery. 16.6cm high, 13.5cm wide & 8.9cm deep (INCHES = 6.5" high, 5.3" wide & 3.5" deep) were the sizes i gave to the fella doing it for me... Got the whole frame back, with the box WELDED in (??) and...
I've an old front master cylinder off a single disc 1980 SG in need of repair. The reservoir looks in a bad way apart from all the other insides and generally speaking the rest of it is bad too. I've looked on ebay and there are no decent looking used ones out there. I don't want to spend the...
I've just got started on fixing up my 1980 XS650 Special. Whilst stripping the bike down i knackered up the Ignition Unit. As a result my burning question is do i by a new stock replacement or just go for one of the basic Boyer/Pamco ignition kits (does it do the same job as the stock ignition...
