Make Offer - 3 seats and a tank

I just don't seem able to set thsee two aftermarket seats on the curb. I will hold them longer if anyone needs them for anything. My wife hates it, she sees no value in holding and moving these with us. I love her anyway.☺

Make Offer - 3 seats and a tank

Again, The tank and standard seat are sold and shipped. What I have left are the two step seats on standard seat pans. I'm not sure if they are worth the price of shipping, but I know I don't need them.

Make Offer - 3 seats and a tank

Yes, I think they look like stock pans. There are pictures of the pans. I hate to just set them out, I would think someone would want them.

Make Offer - 3 seats and a tank

The Tank is now pending. The standard seat is in great condition. So are the other 2, I would move those two for shipping and a little handling, it does take time and materials to ship.

Make Offer - 3 seats and a tank

Make offers and pay for shipping. The standard seat was from a '75 or '76. I bought it for a '77 but it didn't fit up to the tank just right. It is in great shape. The other 2 seats came on my 2 '77's when I bought them. I've since replaced them with seats off '77's. These are also in good...

Wanted - Nice original seat for 74-76

I have a real nice seat off a 75 I'm told. Bought it for my 77 but didn't like the way it lined up to my tank. I'm out of town for the weekend. Could pm you pictures when I get home Monday.

    Feedback for racerdave

I was in need of a center stand for my '77. Contacted Dave and he had one. Good price and he shipped it the same day. It arrived in great shape and I am very pleased with the condition. Thanks Racerdave.

    Center Stand Removal

I haven't had this bike very long and it had 24,000 on it when I got it. I have just got this one running nice and I road it out to dinner. That's when it broke, not as cool as I wanted it to be in front of the restaurant with people sitting on the patio. :D There will be more issues I'm sure...

    Center Stand Removal

Oh, I've hit it. First with a hammer then with a 3lbs maul. It did not budge. I have now mushroomed the threads too. I have now put my small bottle map gas torch on it to the point of cherry red. The bolt turns when rotate the stand so I heated the stand part to red and beat the snot...

    Center Stand Removal

Yes, I broke a foot off my center stand on a '77. It was very rusted and I will hope to find a replacement '77 stand for it. I can not remove the bolts that hold it on. It is rusty but I have spray with penetrating oil and have used a breaker bar. It does not budge. Is there something I...

    Rim Savers?

Yes, way to thin. I marred it right away. I'm going to search the garage for heavier plastic. Do I need to wrap rim with them like the ones on MIke's or can they just be flat pieces? I don't want to mar them up any more. While we are at it, what do I do to improve the marred spot that I...

    Rim Savers?

Will someone please explain 'Milk Carton Rim Savers' before I mar up my rims any more. Are today's milk cartons to thin for this or how do you really make them?

Nope, I missed it. I hate when that happens.

    No Spark, Then Spark

Yes, you are right. Quick plug change with an old one laying around and it fired right up. Just need to adjust the timing a little, sync the carbs and it should be good. Pamco really makes that big a difference? If so, I will put two into my budget. Yes, two, one for each '77. Thanks...

    No Spark, Then Spark

I have been struggling with a timing issue. Finally bought a timing light. Long story short. It's a '77 and if I hold the plug cap slightly off the post it will fire. I changed wires with no change. What could it be? Is that a bad plug? I will pick new ones up after work today. Posted via Mobile

Carbs not in sync when throttle is applied

Made my $5 manometer. After a little effort I was able to get them pretty close at idle. My question is... When applying throttle right side goes up. I do not think this is correct. Do I have a air leak? Where should I be checking?

Twisted Sister maybe, twisted bolt for sure.

All is well, for now. There was all of the stud left and just the threads broke off. I had purchased a 110w wire feed flux core welder a month ago. I have never welded before and hadn't even taken it out of the box yet. My neighbor came over, helped me set it up and gave me a quick 2 minute...
