The shipping is what concerns me a little

Has anyone ever came across a cable operated disc brake system before?? I have seen them on go carts and minibikes before but havent seen them on anything on a larger scale. I am trying to avoid a master cylinder on my build, but i dont want to have to pay $300 for a front drum........ if i can...
Ive been looking for a front drum for a while now. I went over a friends house the other day and he was scrapping a early 70s sl100. The front wheel has a smaller drum on it. Does anyone know what it would take to get this to fit?? Ive searched and cant find anyone that has done this yet. Im not...

Bought my first xs about 6 months ago. Paid $400 for it. Odometer read 9000miles. The guy i bought it from said it quit running on him and it had been sitting under his front porch for 2 years. The inspection sticker confirmed this. Borrowed a buddies truck and she was mine!!

Been staring at my bike on my frame jig the past couple days wondering if i should leave the stock gussets on, put custom ones on, or get rid of them altogether? Any advice/ suggestions????
How exactly is this a 5" ride height??? A 25.5" tall tire to the middle (axle) would be 12.75". So sitting flat on my table (minusing the 5" ride height) should measure 7.75 from the table. By my calculations I'm getting a 7"ish ride height.
