Does anyone have any close up pictures of drag bars or clips ons? Also, any opinions on one vs the other would help. I can't make up my mind between the two styles and would like to see different applications of each. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Is there a way to adjust the throttle to reduce/eliminate any slack in the cable? There is just a little bit of slack in my throttle cable that I'd like to get rid of. It isn't anything major...just something that I wouldn't mind taking care of. This is for an '83 Heritage Special...stock setup.

So I am running a kick start only, no signals, bike and wanted to come up with a new configuration for my switches. So I decided to re-use my kill switch, re-purpose the start switch for the horn, added a small green light for my neutral light, and then added a small switch for the high/low...

I had a set of buell rider pegs laying around and got to thinkin... This was very simple. I took out the digital calipers, the buell pegs measured in at 25.83mm outside mounting flange, and the XS650 peg bracket measured 24.45mm inside mounting flange. I busted out a flat file...

i have a new clutch cable for my build and when i go to hook it up the cable seems to be short and looks like im missing somthing on the arm that pulls the cable please help

I'm looking for a set of drag bars for my build and I'm at work. Anyone know off hand what the distance between the handlebar clamps is? I'm looking at a set of bars with a center section of 5.6", just want to make sure they're not too narrow.

Does any other kick lever a direct swap for the XS? I want to modify one to try and make a custom kicker pedal, but don't want to stuff up my original. Wondering if any other bikes have a one I can use.

I read yesterday that painting the bars might cause the starter not to work. Maybe Im wrong. Does this apply to powdercoating? What will I need to do to make sure it will still work with powdercoated bars? Posted via Mobile

I have some left over stainless tubing form my old work. Smallest about 600mm (2') long and unto 2m (6') I guess. Diameters are 1" , ¾", and ½" Has a wall thickness of 1.5mm ( 1/16 ) Wondering if you guys thought 1" , ¾" would be any good for making up some handle bars??? Anyone...

hey any ideas of electrical switch controls on the bars i will only be running headlight, and horn with maybe engine kill and engine start. i found some but they have more bottons then i will use or does everyone just mount switchs on the oil tank. thanks

when i change my buckhorn bars for different probably clubman will i have to replace clutch cable throttle and brake line for shorter ones
