Another wiring diagram done by me.

It's actually for a cb500/550/4 honda, but it will work on the XS if you just ignore the second ignition coil. any ?'s just axe me. Kinda fuzzy...not sure how to fix that on here.

    Subsidizing My 650

I finally came across a deal on craiglist to fix up and flip to subsidize my 650. I'll admit, this bike ('92 Kawasaki Ninja EX500) would probably take top honors in a "Fugliest Bike" contest but I got it for a mere $250. I'm intending to flip it next spring and continue upgrading/replacing...

    No xs650 in Iran

I had an Iranian guy come up to me out of the blue the other day and make some nice and friendly comments about my bike, which were appreciated. Then he said "I have never seen a bike that size in Iran as its illegal":yikes: He wasn't exactly sure but thought that the maximum engine size...

    I have just bought a xs750

the tire seems very slim for a rear. since it is shaft driven and not much room for clearance, could you put a thicker rear tire on the bike?

    Dubious distinctions

In another thread, Jesse James got brought up. I guess our boy Jesse is a distant relative of the original bank bad boy. He sure resembles him, I'll say that. I really am a descendant of Kit Carson (a great great grandfather I think, I don't know why he was go great-great, maybe he had a...

I have to admit to a fault.

As a 19 year old with little to no money, I must admit to something that will be my downfall. I DO NOT GET RID OF MOTORCYCLES, I simply put them out of view of my mother. When I bought my '75 the deal was I had to sell my blown up Suzuki DR 350. Well while off at school I found an excellent deal...

Check out the butt on this!

HD Ironhead my dad is building on his back patio. He's fabricating all of his own brackets, doing all of his own welding, primed the tank and has started the wiring himself. I say this because my dad is 69 years old and I hope that when im his age I know half of what he knows. I try my best to...

Picked up a basket case 81 xs400. Aside from compression and spark (little black boxes worry me) what else should I look for. Are there any notoriously bad things with these little guys? And would anyone know the thread pitch for the top-clamp bolt for the triple tree? more to...
