I've searched the forum and can't find the exact answer I need....

First of all...i'm terrible at electrical, so I need help.

I'm using the stock harness from the 1976...

things I need:
- head light
- tail light
- signals
- stock ignition system
- horn
- battery

What parts of the harness am I able to do away with?

This link shows you a bunch of diagrams. The 1st one is pretty good as well as the 4th for points ignition.
It depends on what your bike looks like now too, what someone else did, ect.
Best to get a good soldering gun, solder, good connectors and heat shrink tube. Read up as much as you can on the different parts and where they go, understand the stock wiring diagram vs. modified/simplified and go to it.
Plus, having a better understanding of these parts will help others identify what you are talking about incase you need some help. Without understand how the bike works stock, it'll be hard to get it going once you start modifying it.

sorry, I meant stock wiring and ignition..as in no PMA, combined recgulator/rectifier or anything like that...
