i have this frame and there is no smooth surfaces for the berrings to roll in if u will... its like there maybe pressed out??

That pic does not help. A better pic would.
It sounds like someone already removed the ball bearing races. This will make it easier for you to install tapered roller bearings, which is an upgrade that is usually desired and necessary.
