I have a sport classic GT1000 with 68XX miles on it that I could do without. It had the 7.500 mile desmo service (belts/oil/valves/plugs) done before I bought it at 5k. It still has the original tires, but I would put a new rear on before I sold it, it's below inspection depth. It's mostly stock except for the 14t front sprocket and ventura luggage rack.

I thought you guys might be interested in a classic styled bike with modern reliability so I'm listing it here before I try ebay/craigslist/cycletrader. It's worth the asking price, the only trade I'm interested in is a TDI of comparable value.

I'm in central PA, I would encourage you to come see/ride/wreck it if you're interested.

Good luck with the sale. I had one in red. The ds1000 is an awesome motor. You think your xs650 makes tq....hold on! That and commando style pipes on it. What a sound.

Thanks man, the ds1000 is one of the smoothest fuel injected Ducati engines I've ever ridden, almost as good as the carbed motors. I need to get some new pictures up and figure out how to change the thread title since I reduced the price. I got the tank replaced. It no longer has the red trim on the tank, the PO must have appliied some pin-striping or painted it on. It had the tank swelling issue but Ducati replaces them as a result of a class action settlement.
