73 Forks on a 74?

Fellas-

I've got the all too common pitted inner fork tubes on my '74. Given that these are the 34mm coming across replacements without buying new is a bit difficult.

Does anyone know if inner fork tubes from a '73 will swap to a '74? MikesXS has got them listed under different part #s but I can't tell from looking if there is any difference.

Both the '73 and '74 had single side front disk mounted ahead of the fork which makes me wonder...

Trying to save a few $s by going the ebay route before I shell out the $140 for a new set form mike.

I thought the 34mm forks were last in the '73? In 74 there were many changes, the most drastic in any one year span. You might want to double check that you have 34 mm forks.

Good question. Yes, I did check them. Per my calipers they measure 33.90mm.
