The La Crescent High School Chopper Club is putting their 1979 Yamaha XS650 project bike for sale by bids through email. If you are willing, and intend to buy it, please email your offer in with the subject line reading "LHSCC bid", and in your email state the amount you would be willing to pay in U.S. dollars along with a way to be contacted. On Friday if your bid is chosen, you will be contacted by the school. The bike has student built bars, pipes, fender struts, seat, and it is kick start only. It has been hardtailed by the students with an air shock seat, all parts have been powder coated by Premiere Powder Coating, new Avon tires, an XS Charge magneto system, a PAMCO ignition system, a Sportster gas tank, it's been pinstriped by Relic Kustoms, a bobbed Harley fender, and solid brass foot pegs. The sale of this bike is intended to raise money for future motorcycles builds at the high school.
