Another m/c choice for use with Brembo 4-pot calipers

In keeping with good discussions on this forum about matching master cylinder and brake caliper bore sizes, I offer this for Brembo conversions - the 1/2 inch bore m/c Yamaha part number 2UJ-25870-00-00 as used on 1988-1990 Route 66, 1995-2007 XV 250 Virago and 2008-2011 VStar 250. It's as close to plug-and-play as I've found to date. Has RH-threaded mirror mount hole and the right receptacle for the plug-in front brake switch used on our 650's. Accepts stock brake lever and has outlet port in front like the stock 14mm m/c that Yamaha put on later 650's, but a lower profile, as shown in attached pic's. Half-inch (12.7 mm for metrically-oriented brains) is about the optimum bore size for a single-disc Brembo Goldline caliper swap, going by 3M's chart - with two 34mm pistons and two 30mm pistons, it's functionally equivalent to four 32's. The mirror mount hole is a bit "inboard" compared to the one on stock m/c, so field-of-view past your right shoulder will be reduced somewhat unless a longer RH mirror stem is used.
