Aussie wiring help

Hi all, I'm a new member, I hope you all don't mind me asking a question that may have been covered but I can't find the specific answer. I have an Australian xs650s 1981 model and now I'm onto the electronics, but it's all over the place. When I look at the clymer manual wiring diagrams the one that matches mine is the pre TCI U.S models ( - 1980), is that correct? The bike is stock with points, separate regulator / rectifier, and I want to buy a harness from mikesxs, but which one? Any help would be appreciated.

I'd guess that MikesXS '79 wiring harness is as close as you'll get.

A correction on the 79 Harness.........................Should have read 78SE.................Post a link and i will correct the post.

I done an Oceania 80SG harness swap with a US78SE harness and it marries 99.9%.

Oceania 80SG, Points running separate Reg and rect. Has a Pass/High beam flash button next to the high/low switch, on the left bar switch. Has a Headlight park wire on the ignition switch. Small stuff. US 78SE has a light checker, Oceania 80SG doesn't.

Thanks guys for the info and for the welcome! It baffles me that the same motorbike has so many wiring combinations around the world?? Why would the US have the 80 model with TCI and Aussie and Europeans with points? Crazy....just rambling now... Skull have you combined the reg / rectifier? And changes to the charging system with a PMA?
