Battery post

Has anyone fixed a broke battery post? If so how did ya do it?

Your not gonna like this answer. New battery. Some batteries have a side mount next to the top connection too. With the way the battery box is I don't think it will work. Or it broke off with the top mount. Get a new battery.

Sure, cobble away just hope the fix don't give up on the freeway or a lonely road at night. How the heck did it break? I don't recollect a bad post in hundreds of motorcycle batteries over 40 years 'cept maybe a rust bucket bike dragged out of the weeds after years of neglect where the nut was frozen to the bolt which mattered not in the least.

the posts are lead, it can be soldered, won't be as strong as original

New battery is the ez way out. Lol Thanks jayel I was wondering about that.gggGary your right about it leaving ya out in the cold I plane on puttin a new one in the bike but its nice to have one around the shop for testing one of them old bikes I pull out of the weeds lol
