Cheaper than WD-40, and it works just as good. Walmart, Super Tech Lubricant, spray, let it sit for awhile, Scrub what you can, blow off or rinse off, wash off the residue with Dawn.

Agreed. Gunk ain't as good as it used to be but it's still good stuff. And yeah... the smell of Gunk wafting up from a hot air cooled engine.... sweet!!Gunk.
It's not as powerful or as smelly as it used to be but it still shift muck reasonably well.
There's something just so evocative about an old air-cooled bike still giving off a faint smell of hot Gunk as you go to the shops and park up.
Propaah.
I have tried every small brush there is. Never been satisfied. most sucked, the rest were merely disappointing. I finally found the perfect small brush:An assortment of nylon, brass, and stainless steel brushes. Toothbrushes are surprisingly indestructible.
