brake light strobe modules

i dont know if this is common knowledge but i wanted to share some info on some brake modules that i got at superbrightleds.com.

1- LSC-100A flashes 4x for .4 seconds and then 4 times for 2.6 seconds
1- FL2S-10A flashes 20 times for 2 seconds
1157-R24-WV led bulbs.

in the video you cant tell how fast they really flash. the 20X in 2 seconds you can only see about half the flashes in the video. its crazy.

these are really small, and not expensive, and easy to wire. if your running leds or plan on moving over to leds, i think getting one of these strobes would be a good idea. at least it will give the SUV texting killer something cool to look at right before they run your ass down.

I picked one of these up for my bike during the rebuild but I haven't wired it in yet because I want to wire it on a switch to have the option to disable it. It really is a nice strobe when it fires.

That had crossed my mind as well as making sure there wasn't a possible hassle with inspection. I would also like to be able to disable it while group riding, no need to strobe my buddy riding behind me.

Haven't seen one of these in a few years. All the sport bike guys used to rock them.

The strobes honestly are a distraction and you end up focusing on them and not traffic. Same thing with the pulsating headlights...

I agree with you and am currently running it only because I have yet to replace the blown regular bulb.
