Brass bushings for swing arm secondary parts?

I took apart my swing arm for powder coating I took out the plastic bushings and had to heat out a second bushing type cylinder thing with a torch. but now I have the brass upgrade bushings. is that's all that is needed? No second part?
 
You absolutely need the pivot tube. The whole swing arm pivots on the bolt/tube /bushing assembly. Those brass bushings just replace the plastic ones. They are not magic a eliminate the rest of the assembly. :wink2: Make sure everything is rust free and operates smoothly.

Put it back together how you took it apart. :thumbsup:
 
Ah, I guess I wasn't descriptive enough. I didn't mean the pivot tube. There were these two sleeves that were made of some type of dense cloth like material that I had to burn out.
