easy question here
Do I install the cap in series or parallel to my fuse block?
CURRENTLY- I have it installed similar to a battery (parallel). The ground goes to frame, the + coming from generator to the + post on cap, and the + post on the cap runs to my fuse block. Same way you would have a battery installed.
I will note. That running the bike without the cap made it run terrible, then the second I attached the cap, it was all good.
(My ignition died recently, unsure if related to this)
Now I’m starting to think maybe it should be ran in series?
+ coming from generator running INTO the + on cap. Then run the ground from - on cap to the + pole on my fuse block.
My bike is wired very similar to this- except I don’t have fuses inline like this. I have an actual fuse block/power distribution. (My key is wired before the fuse block)
