The water based cleaner might chalk the aluminum. The wax content Is not a factor when used as cleaning agent. If used for fuel In a slow burning heater after burning about 10 gal, Wax will bugger the wick. Freeze your ass time while you burn off the wax. paraffin as you call it same as K-1.
