clutch cover differences over years?

I managed to crack my 1977 right side cover. I think something was holding it up from seating squarely and I torqued it too much. Bah. I have a 1980 parts bike. Are they the same? Thanks.

Yes, those two years would be. Some of the very, very early ones differ in regards to the oil filter housing, but might still swap. I think I'd stay away from them though. I put an '81 or newer oil site glass equipped cover on my '78 and it fit just fine.
