Damn! Broke bolt

:doh:Anybody ever broke a bolt in their lower tree? it broke right at the threaded part of the fork clap. Can anyone give me some suggestions on how to get this out or should i say F- it ride it as is thanks for any help.

Screw it all the way through with vice grips, if there's enough sticking through the back.
 
yup you are in the catbird seat as far as broken bolt's go. If you got a mig welder weld a nut on the back side and thread it out. The heat from welding will loosen the bolt and it will thread right out. you might be able to just cut a slot in the back side with a little abrasive disk in a dremel tool and unthread it with a screwdriver.
 
I've done that before, can't remember with what. Sawed a slot into the side of the bolt that's sticking out, and then just took it out with a screwdriver.
