Whats a dealer repair tool kit (unused) 1973 for the 650 Yamaha worth.Came across one one recently and thinking about making some sort of offer.

Well, from your point of view, probably as cheap as you can get it for. Now, you do mean the little factory tool kit residing under the side cover that came stock with these, right? I'd probably give $20 for one. You don't really use it for much but they are cool to have.
The last "dealer" kit I saw sold for $400 about 3-4 yrs ago.
It came in a small suitcase size metal box and contained all the tools you see in the front of the SJ/SK manual iirc.
Thomas what all is in it? Being a '73 it probably won't have some things like the gas float bowl level checker?

It was like but a lot nicer than these Honda tool kits.

This kit is owned by an ex dealer that had to have it in order to receive an order of 650s in 73.Haven't seen it yet but am having a showing soon,apparently includes valve seat cutting tools.I am interested in it and want a realistic value on it and not stupidily lowbid on the thing and look like an idiot.
