E advance

its crazy to keep a mechanical advance when you can have an electronic advance that is always exactly the right advance at all times.

No wear no going out of adjustment or sticking etc . Even Yamaha saw the sense in it and fitted TCI as standard 1980 onward

Fit a nice Boyer Micro Digital or similar and then forget about points and advance :wink2:

As mentioned the stock advancer needs regular maintenance.
Another E-advancer feature is at cranking rpms below 100 rpms the e-advancer adds extra retard for less kick back and easier starts while kick starting. Saves a sore leg.

The extra retard under 100 rpm is a nice feature. Thanks again, the extra maint isn't really a big deal. If I wanted something that didn't require fidling I would stick with my order. Bikes
