OK everyone, I know it's been discussed before, but would anyone like to chime in on the easiest modern front end swap? I'm definitely lacing a new 19" hoop to my original hub, but want to put pretty big rim and tire (27.0x7.0x19 Mitas), and modern brakes. Then, do I need to get a different swinger for the 27.5x7.5x19" rear?

Help a noob out.:D

Hi Todd,
I'm not familiar with your tire size numbers but any tire fatter than 5" (130mm) won't fit between the chain on one side and the stock swingarm on t'other.
If you use a wider swingarm in order to fit a wider tire you will have to either dogtrack the rear wheel or offset the transmission sprocket to get the chain to line up.
