anyone know of a cheep place to get (or have one for sale) an engine jig so when i chop the frame it stays square well i am getting the hard tail attached?

Just make one. I used some old scrap galvanized 1"tubing that I found in my garage. Measure the widths of the mounting points on the engine, cut to length and bolt into the frame. Then just connect the points in a somewhat triangular fashion.
