Post #31............Accepted practice is to install all the inners first, then the outers. If outers are put in along with the inners, eventually they will get in the way of installing some of the last inners.

First wheel I re-spoked ... think I was 14 or 15. I remember it as the most frustrating day of my of my young life. ;)
If you search Youtube for "lacing a motorcycle wheel" you'll get tons of hits. This one is pretty good.
I'll emphasize what he said... use oil or anti-seize on the threads. Makes truing it much easier.

 
Making another set of high pipes is tempting but I`m so far behind as it is on whatever that thing is that I`m building I might never get caught up.:shrug::shrug:
 
After I posted this I sat down again. I think I was just burnt out last night and frustrated Jim. I was referencing that same thread 650skull. I was just overthinking it. Here’s what I came up with.
