anyone know the thread pitch of the mount on the bottom of the frame that the stock exhaust mounts to, some people use it for mid control mounts?? If that makes any sense. I'm away from the shop and need to go to the hardware store

Hi 'Works,
M10 x 1.25 pitch. That's the metric fine pitch thread. Most hardware shops only stock metric fasteners of standard pitch and while an M10 x 1.5 bolt will start in an M10 x 1.25 hole it'll only go in for less than a turn before it starts wrecking the thread.

I just replaced them on mine and the M10 x 1.25 is not so common in the UK so you pay more for them. The standard in the UK is the 1.5 mm pitch. I got mine on E bay. I personally think the Japanese were right in making 1.25 their standard - nicer to work with. Their Dome nuts (Acorn nuts) also have a nicer aspect about them. The European standard ones are longer and do not look quite so nice.
