Fall Photo Challenge - Post Your Pics

The leaves haven't started to change here yet,but there's some dead pine needles by the driveway. Here's my stable, 2000 Buell Cyclone, 83 XS Street Tracker, and 81 SR250 Cafe that I just finished for my wife.[She couldn't hold the 650 up with her short legs.]

Does it count for the bike being in the picture if you are on it?
If so this was snapped over my shoulder.

Since this is all about the changing colors I thought I'd offer this. :wink2:

This is what the 79 is going to wear to the Slimy crud Sunday

My stock 75 is pretty bland compared to the other bikes posted but here it is!! The leaves haven't really changed here yet, I rode around three hours and this is the best I could find.

Is that the drilled disc from mikes ? I want to swap my dual disc for a light weight single . Does the caliper for a single bolt right on ? Thanks.. Love your stock bikes , they look better than new.

Yes that's the Mikes disc. If you get the current model I think it includes the spacers needed to use the stock caliper. I also used Vesrah pads from 650 central. The biggest improvement to the brakes was going to a smaller master cylinder (this one is a 10mm) with that and a teflon (stainless steel) line I think the brake is an ideal match for the mission of the bike. It is so nice to have reasonable lever pressure and easy modulation all the way to tire chirping. No doubt the aggressive pads will chew up the rotor over time but it's not like I put 10,000 miles a year on the bike. I think you may want to hone or block sand the rotor before installing it, I found the drilled holes had raised lips that needed attention but this disk had been hanging around in the parts bin for years before I installed it.

Here is my fall photo. I just got my Tracker to a running state about a month ago. It started it's life as an 82 special. My dad previously built it as a Tracker, I just took and reworked it. Built box for battery and wires. Welded up frame scrapes and cut marks. I installed Mikes 750 big bore kit, new clutch springs and fiber discs, Pamco ignition, new fork seals, powder coated the outer cases, frame, triple trees, brakes. Fresh paint on the tank and tail piece. I have a different head light to fab a bracket for and 18" rear wheel to replace my 16" rear. I still have lots of work to do powder or paint hubs and wheels, but the amount of ridding days are growing shorter for this year. I have put 400 miles on this beast so far and am shooting for a thousand before I start the rest of the mods I want to do this winter.

Technically it is still fall..........even though we had our first snow last night. Should all be melted by tomorrow and probably looking at 3-4 weeks of bearable riding. :bike:

This has been a most disappointing fall, color-wise. Not enough cold weather to set the colors, too much wind and rain has knocked the leaves off.

So, what you see is what you get. Both within 3 miles of my house.

If I can catch the sun right, I'm going to try one more South to North over the harbor. Pretty at high tide with all the boats in.
